LET'S CREATE LEGISLATION THAT WOULD PREVENT THE PRIME MINISTER FROM PROROGUING PARLIAMENT WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF A MAJORITY OF THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
HOW TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF HAITI
Dear Constituents,
I am writing in response to the devastating earthquake in Haiti and to express my profound sadness at the terrible loss of life and the enormous human tragedy that is unfolding. The overwhelming infrastructure destruction means Haitians face a desperate shortage of the most basic human needs, including food and potable drinking water. My office has received calls, emails and visits from many Victorians who want to help. I am passing along contact information for those of you who are wanting to contribute to the relief effort and information about local benefit events being organized to raise money for Haiti.
